TME designs and manufactures customized flue gas treatment systems capable of meeting the specific needs of any industrial or civil waste-to-energy plant. The solutions offered cover all the main treatment technologies, ensuring compliance with the emission limits imposed by European directives and BREF (Best Available Techniques Reference Document) documents.
Technologies for Dry, Semi-Dry, and Wet Flue Gas Treatment
When using a semi-dry method, an absorber and a spray dryer are used to remove SOx and acidic components. In dry methods, this function is performed by dry reactors with sodium bicarbonate or hydrated lime injection systems. Both systems can be integrated into our flue gas treatment plants.
NOx removal technologies
TME's experience is comprehensive and includes both selective non-catalytic (SNCR) and catalytic (SCR) removal, low-temperature SCR, high-dust SCR, and catalytic ceramic filters. In cases where dioxin removal is not guaranteed by the SCR system, systems based on activated carbon dosing or fixed-bed activated carbon filters can be used.
Heat recovery technologies
For heat recovery, TME provides solutions that apply combustion gas condensation, gas-gas exchangers with cleaning systems, external economizers, and gas-condensate exchangers.
