The presence of TM.E. S.p.A. – Termomeccanica Ecologia in Poland continues to grow as the Company was chosen by the municipality of Szczezcin for the completion of the construction works of the incinerator of the city, that will burn 150,000 tons / year of waste.

In mid-November TME SpA  signed a new contract in Poland, the third in order of time from when, in 2012, It started building the first waste to energy plant of the new-generation, in Poland (Bydgoszcz). It is the incinerator of the city of Szczecin near the border between Poland and Germany.

The plant, which consists of two combustion lines for a total of 150,000 tons of waste per year,  had actually been started by a consortium of Polish companies which however did not complete the contract, making it necessary  for  the municipality company,  Zakład Unieszkodliwiania odpadów Spółka z o.o., to call for a new tender procedure for its completion. TME was  therefore awarded the new tender ensuring the realization of the work within the time specified by the customer

The plant, as a practice in Poland, will produce both electricity (13 MW of installed power) and thermal energy for the district heating network, up to a maximum of 32 thermal MW.

The commercial and organizational skills demonstrated by TM.E. S.p.A. on Polish territory in the field of construction of incinerators plants has thus given new results for making the Company  the first technology manufacturer in the country in this field.
