TM.E. S.p.A. - Termomeccanica Ecologia operates in two sectors in the more general “environmental” business:

  • Waste to energy (from municipal solid waste and renewable sources such as biomasses, bio-gas, wind and solar power).
  • Technological water treatment (potabilization, desalination and waste water purification), both for civil and industrial use.

It also manages services connected with technological water treatment and waste disposal.

The Company designs and builds plants by involving its two E.P.C. (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) divisions, while the plant management is entrusted mainly to special purpose Project Companies controlled by TM.E.

ORGANISATION & QUALITY 
Since TM.E. is the engineering and contracting company of the Termomeccanica Group, it is essentially a production unit, with its common general services under the Managing Director’s responsability (Procurement, Foreign Sales and Branches, etc.), and the General Director (Research and Development, Italian Sales and Project Managers, Production process, including erection, commissioning and start-up).
Other services are provided by the central departments of the Termomeccanica Group.

TM.E.’s Quality Management System was set up to meet the standards of the UNI EN ISO 9001/2015, “Quality Management Systems - Requirements”.
TM.E. S.p.A. - Termomeccanica Ecologia’s Quality Management System was certified in terms of the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard in February 1996 (initially as the Plants Engineering Department of Termomeccanica and since November 1999, when it was set up, as TM.E.).

TM.E.’s Quality Management System was set up to develop systematic, transparent management, with a view to ongoing improvement in the Company’s performance, taking into account the needs of internal and external customers. From the stage in which tenders are submitted, each project is subjected to the checks called for in the Quality System procedures.

Every contract acquired is run in compliance with a specific Quality Plan that is implemented as provided for in the Company’s procedures and by the specific demands given in the contract itself. The entire process involved in contract management, including in-house activities (planning, purchasing, etc.) and outside activities (quality control of suppliers, site works, etc.), takes place in compliance with the indications contained in the Quality System documents (manual, procedures, guidelines, etc.), and is constantly monitored by the dedicated departments.

 

E.H.S.M.S. (Environmental and Health & Safety Management System)

TM.E.’s Environmental and Health and Safety Management System has been elaborated in accordance with the requirements of the UNI EN ISO 14001 standards, Edition 2015: "Environmental Management Systems - Requirements" and the UNI ISO 45001 standard "Occupational health and safety management systems — Requirements with guidance for use".
